Everyday Summer Flavours

The June issue of Everyday Food is slipping into mailboxes across North America and subscribers are sure to delight in the flavour-drenched pages of this summer-themed issue. Summer is all about family get-togethers, parties with friends and casual outdoor dining, not to mention barbecues, ice cream and all the fresh produce your refrigerator can handle. The June issue is bursting with fantastic food ideas that incorporate each of these summer delights.

The cover is fresh and fun featuring some summer season staples: barbecued shrimp with grilled corn and cuccumber salad.
A fiesty tex-mex menu had my mouth watering as I read through the recipes and we're told by editor Anna Last that the watermelon margarita is not to be missed.

Cobblers, Crisps and Pies represent the old guard of summer desserts. Easy recipes for these standards make them attainable for summer entaining.
