I just wanted to take a moment to promote Kevin Sharkey's new design blog on MarthaStewart.com, called Home Design. Kevin is the decorating editor and one of the editorial directors of Martha Stewart Living. The blog promises to offer an inside look at the renovation process of his sleek Manhattan apartment: the challenges and the successes. It also offers a glimpse into the offices of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (I'm in love with Kevin's colour-coded bookshelves!) and Kevin's personal photographs of Martha's homes. This blog is definitely one to watch!
There are myriad photographs already on the blog, including photos of Skylands, Martha's Hinckley boat (the Skylands II), Kevin's office and Kevin's apartment.
Some furniture from Kevin's previous studio apartment awaits final appraisal and placement in his new Manhattan digs.
