Brandy's Halloween Hijinks

One of the benefits of the Internet is being able to locate and source passionately creative people in a matter of moments. Sites such as Etsy, which hosts an entire world of creative minds working and handcrafting dreams daily, make the search even easier. I am finding it increasingly difficult to refrain from checking into Etsy nearly every day to get my craft fix. And when it comes to holidays, the visits become even more frequent.

On one such 'drop-in' I discovered Brandy Faulkner of Texas, wife and mother and Halloween Priestess Extraordinaire. Her creepy creations left me wanting to buy just about everything on her list. Everything, from labels to tags to cards to games to enitre party kits, can be found on her Etsy site, Brandywine Boutique. Below are some examples of her delightfully dreadful creations. (She also has a cute blog!)
This photo beautifully illustrates the printed labels she creates. Each label shown comes in a set of six. Each package is $6.00. A closer look at some of the tags. Many of them use vintage Halloween imagery. The labels will be shipped like this. Even the packaging is enticing! A set of four cards featuring the design on a page from an 1884 book from her private collection. It is printed on high grade hand-dyed card stock with fade-resistant ink. ($6.50 for the set of four.)
Halloween bingo, anyone? Brandy created these Halloween bingo cards, which can be used as labels or gift tags. A set of four is $6.50. Each one is embellished by hand. I love these elegant gift tags. A set of six is $6.50.

A pure blood cocktail, anyone? This bottle is "B Positive." One of the many label designs in Brandy's collection.
One of the best ideas is this Vampire Party Kit, which comes with six custom-made invitations, six "Bitten" tags (for gifts, napkin rings or place cards) one "Immortal" pendant banner with handmade flags, twelve "Bite Me" tags (for cupcake toppers or food labels) twelve glassine party-favour bags, 2 yards each of red and black seam binding and six "Pure Blood" bottle labels, shown above. The entire kit is $100. Brilliant!
